Scafell (or Scawfell)
The "Victorian tourist route"  to Scafell does not offer the excitement of Lords Rake but it does offer an easy if rather tiring way to the top of Scafell. Starting from near the ruined peat stores on the Corpse Road the route is over grass until the top of Lords Rake is reached.
The upper section has a clear path but lower down it is intermittent, people finding their own ways over the easy ground. I find the best ascent route hugs the cliffs on the left (north).

A more energetic option is to include Scafell with Scafell Pike. After ascending Scafell Pike by either the Styhead route over Great End, the Corridor Route or along the edge of Piers Ghyl non climbers (the direct approach, Broad Standbroad stand photo, is for roped climbers only) can descend towards Eskdale from Mickledore and take the Fox's Tarn route to Scafell (850ft of ascent), descending by the Victorian tourist route.
