I have made arrangements for prints of most of the images on my websites to be available. (The prints are made from the original scans of the slides or RAW digital files, not from the web quality 100-200K JPEG copies seen on the website and are without the "Gillard-Reid" copyright text). The prints can be made on normal gloss or matte photographic print paper from a 10MByte JPEG master or you may choose the premium option and have the print produced on satin paper by Redcliffe Fine Art Imaging from a 50MByte master file.

You will need the caption or filenames[1] of the images you require. We can, of course, discuss details or any queries by email. or by phone.
If ordering by post it is probably a good idea to send the filenames and any other details and special requests by email so that specific requirements can be clarified as soon as possible. If paying by Paypal you still need to email me full details of your order.
Captions
and borders
Prints
with a white border can have a caption as required, I normally place
them
bottom right in a sans-serif font (like this text) capitalised like
this
- WASDALE HEAD FROM GREEN HOW.
If
you require something else, perhaps like "Blencathra
- Our favourite hill " I can
do
this for you.
(Should
all the above seem overly complex you are welcome to just give me the
filenames
and the size with the instruction "please print as most appropriate").
Normally
prints are despatched within a few days but may take up to 14.

or no border?
Prints with a border can be fitted directly into an appropriate frame and will be uncropped images similar to the web images, prints without a border will have to be cropped to conform to the paper size. In the case of cropping I can mock up how the finished cropped print will look. |

Larger
orders- premium
As
some of the costs are fixed I am able to offer discounts for larger
orders:-
A4
etc 2 to 4 prints £30 each. 5 or more prints £25 each
A3
etc 2 to 4 prints £45 each. 5 or more prints £40 each
(Mixed
sized orders qualify fully for discounts, 3 x A4 + 2 A3 qualifies for 5
or more prices - 3 @ £25 and 2 @ £40 )
Identifying
images

Most images have captions below the photo, Spanish photos have one in
the
window title.
If
you require a print of a photo without a caption, right clicking on the
image and choosing "save image" will show its filename in the save
dialog
box, (click cancel after noting the name).Back
