Although not in Wasdale, Esk Pike is a viable walk from Wasdale Head. It can form a diversionary route when the higher tops are in cloud, if at Esk Hause and considering a cloud covered Scafell Pike. 
Esk Pike has an interesting summit and summit approach from Esk Hause as well as good views of Langdale and upper Eskdale, although the walk is almost continuously uphill.
