Langdale is one of the most popular dales in the ELD, both for rock climbers and walkers. Jacks Rake on Pavey Ark is a great walkers scramble and Langdale has the Old Dungeon Ghyll pub. Bowfell and Crinkle Crags makes a great walk and the valley is attractive. But it can get very crowded.
