french regulo
settings
The
LaCanche
French cooker ranges operate on a regulo 1-10 scale. UK regulo settings
operate on a 1 -9 scale of 25 F increments. (Conversions are often also
given for Centigrade, but these are misleading as they are rounded to
the
nearest 10C.)
The
table
below gives Centigrade values for La Canche regulo settings based on
the
assumption that true values for 1 and 10 were ascertained and
intervening
values can be calculated from them. Note that a French regulo
value
may be 40C different from a UK one. (UK 6 is 200C and French 6 is 239C)
While
